My understanding today's military push was mostly in the western front. The feds and Tigray were fighting inside Axum. There were also skirmishes in the outskirts of Shire today. But both are in the hands of the feds now.

In the grand scheme of things and the trajectory of this war, the Ethiopian government, along with the Ethiopian military and other ethnic militia will win this war. The TPLF will be ousted and a puppet Tigray regime will be installed in Tigray. This is a simple case of might over right.
But the fallout of this war will be seen in years and decades to come. The first time in modern Ethiopia history is a Semitic habesha population being attacked from all angles. The Ethiopian government, Ethiopian Military, Amharic militia, Afar militia, Somali militia, Oromo militia as well Eritrea and Sudan are all attacking and conspiring against the Tigrayan people because they elected their region government rightly so. Even if there was a case for the election to be delayed it would be meaningless, as any honest, fair election in the Tigray region 99% of the votes would be for the TPLF. Other ethnic groups and the government might not like the TPLF but majority of Tigrayan people do regardless of the heinous crimes and atrocious acts during their time in power.
This war is a major turning point in Ethiopia. After this war, the Amhara will be the only people who actually deep down believe in this Ethiopia project. The Ethiopia or Ethiopian concept is now officially completely dead in the eyes of Tigrayans and in the region known as Tigray. The next generation of Tigrayans will be battle hardened and carry vigorous resentment towards Ethiopia after this war is done. This war has created a us vs. them mentality and siege mentality in Tigray which will never be ousted and echoed through the coming generations. Much like the Eritreans tell their youth the crime and oppression from Selassie and Mengistu to ensure the continuation and survival of Eritrea, Tigrayans will be speaking about this war forever, settling themselves up for the foundation of separation in the decades to come.
This is a very short sighted war by Abiy, TPLF is the devil you know and should come to accept, going war against them has dented Ethiopia forever

The severity of the Ethiopian split will depend on whether the borders of the Tigray Region would be redrawn or not. That is of course if Tigray loses the ongoing war.

In the video the narrator says "the upcoming conflict against Egypt" and " Realistically Ethiopia can't defend the GERD dam" which he also called a military installation.
If Sisi doesn't take out the dam by January while the US is looking the other way, it will be his biggest mistake.

If we are being honest, Muslim Ethiopians have always been cucks. Lets just hope Amhara and Tigray continue to f*ck each other up and the animosity between the two increases
