ethiopia is done for even if tplf is eliminated. I saw amharas on tiktok saying they're excited to "clean out the northern mountains" and tigrays were shocked. there is no more unity after this, no one except amharas will want to be apart of ethiopia, ESPEICALLY if abiy becomes dictator
Looks like a Yugoslavia situation, we are about to see 6 new countries formed in the Horn

The Somali region won't be one of them as long as Cagjar is in power and the ONLF stands behind him. Both are supporting Abiy's government and haven't shown any concern to what his incursion on Tigray means for the future of ethnic federalism and the rights of states. I shouldn't be surprised since none of them had anything to say on how Abiy's invasion of the Somali region violated the Ethiopian constitution.

The people of the region should form new parties.

hmm idk now. if tplf wins and tigray splits then yea, every region will follow. but if they lose its only gonna be the diaspora that hate each other.

if ONLF are becoming pro-ethiopia, then ethiopias federal government definitely has the power to make any region's party pro ethiopia. they will convert tigray to be pro ethiopian, and then the oromo party too. then after a couple years these parties will brainwash their citizens to not be as secessionist anymore

you guys should look at the data in this article

look at all the graphs separating children quality of life by region. it's always somali at the bottom, then oromos/afars, then amhara, then some cities, then tigray, then addis ababa. this is actual proof there is heavy bias against and for certain ethnicities. no one should symapthize for either habesha groups especially for tplf, tigray region is literally comparable to main cities in other regions

do crtl+f then search somali for the graphs

@menowaawaa @Crow @Django ONLF made there point very clear in 2018 after signing a ceasefire, secession is there aim and that will never change. Are you expecting a bi-weekly protest or hashtag?

How can they be criticized for leadership when they aren’t currently in a leadership position? The fact that other Somalis believe they are compromised means so can Ethiopians, I will judge Maadeys movements post elections everything prior is going to be real quiet on his front and expecting more than that is naive. I will see this route for an extra year if they lose a rigged election they will definitely go back to the bush(worst outcome not what should be advocated right now)
According to the constitution, there is only one federal institution that has the authority to hold federal and local elections including conduct referendums and that is the election board. The election board, just like the Air force, Central bank, Foreign ministry etc. is a federal institution. When a region tries to grab federal power then that is a clear violation of the constitution. Tigray kilil just did that. It illegally established a local election board. That is like establishing a local central bank and issuing your own currency. If you want to do that then either you have to amend the constitution or you have to become independet and do whatever you want. You can't have it both ways, undermining federal power and at the same time getting federal benefits like budget support.

And finally, we have seen what an election board and an election looks like under TPLF for the past 27 years and the last Tigray election confirmed that. It is a tool so that TPLF declares winning over 99% of the votes. That too is unacceptable. But the main reason is the clear violation of the constitution and garbing of federal power. TPLF has been acting like an independent state but at the same time wanting to get all the benefit of a regional state. They want to eat their cake and have it too.
Where in the constitution does it say that?

Nowhere in article 51(fed rights) is elections or state administration mentioned and in article 52(state rights) it says:
All powers not given expressly to the Federal Government alone, or concurrently to the Federal Government and the States are reserved to the States.
as well as
a. To establish a State administration that best advances self-government, a democratic order based on the rule of law; to protect and defend the Federal Constitution;

Comparable? Tigray regions outperform other regions by miles. Some dusty Tigray villages have the same living standards as big cities like Addis and Jigjiga, let alone big Tigray cities. Tigray region is a state within a state. Meles anticipated Tigrays losing power in Addis and invested big in his region to the point they're independent from Addis in everything.

They can easily take on Addis but the involvement of Eritrea complicates things.

I am most amazed at Egypt being so quiet over this past week. There is no way this being relegated from a full scale war into an anti-insurgency campaign is good for them.

Mustafe Omar has blocked all the main roads in the city for the Amhaar population to protest in support of the Federal Government's attack on Tigray. Somalis are disgruntled some shouting profanities and yelling support for Somalia. The Somali soldiers also are lackluster and look visibly saddened at the state of subservience they have been forced to endure.

Roads have been closed right now i will take some snapshots and video after it starts. Around Noon Jigjiga time.
Dw about that, i will also only be there for a few minutes to take a short video. Tigray might attack the area and i don't want to be in danger.
if it's possible can you make a quick video/photo of the reactions from somalis, but remember to be carefull.

Coonjar needs to be overthrown and replaced with someone actually chosen by the people instead of an Evangelical Oromo wecel.

TPLF can take on Addis my behind. It is always better to keep quite on things you have no clue about. This all TPLF propaganda bluffing and fake news will very soon come to an end and we will see what all you guys then say. Tigray has only Liyu militia like any other region. There is no way they can stand the federal army. Only those with no knowledge of on the ground buy into the TPLF fake bluffing. Almost half of Tigray is now under the Army control and Mekele will very soon fall. A regional Liyu militia is no match to the fighting machine of the Army. That is delusional.

Are these Tigray or Habashi
The Tigray Liyu in one of the western Tigray regions started going door to door and killing civilians (most likely Amharas) just before the Army and the Amhara Liyu took over the town. The Tigray Liyu then fled from the town. This is a cowardliness terrorist action.
