since when does the CIA director personally visit an african country? 'Consultations' he says they are there to give orders nothing else

CIA Director William Joseph Burns today visited Mogadishu, where he met with the President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh and the Director of National Intelligence and Security Mahad Salad.

The meeting that took place inside the Aden Adde airport discussed the issues of security cooperation and the fight against terrorism.

The director has been traveling in the Horn of Africa for the past two days, and the day before he met Kenyan President William Ruto and his Director of Intelligence in Nairobi - Abdiaziiz Golfyare

He was in Muqdisho earlier today

Agreed thats very promising, and the situation in general seems to indicate somalia federal govt is being seen as a regional ally by us.
