Christians launch a secretive social media campaign targeting Somalis

The Somali people are located in the Horn of Africa, our Secret Church 9 prayer focus. An unreached people group, there are nearly 17 million Somalis. War and famine has led many of them outside the borders of Somalia, yet they remain unreached with the good news of Jesus. Thankfully, there are some invaluable efforts currently underway to change this. But we’d like to add one.

We’re calling it The Horn Project. It’s creative, unconventional, and cutting edge. And it’s dependent on you. Here’s how it works:

Below is an animated video in the Somali language. In under ten minutes, the history of sin and the need for a blood sacrifice is traced all the way from Adam to Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God. Now it just needs to be viewed by Somali people.

This is where you come in. You can actually help us get this video in front of Somali people. In two weeks, Somali-speakers will be targeted with a Facebook add for this video. These adds will be much more effective if the video is highly viewed.

So we need you to view it. A lot.

And not just you, but your family, your church, your friends, your small group, and your co-workers, too. The more views it gets, the higher the chance it’s seen by Somali eyes.

We know you probably don’t speak Somali, and that’s okay. We simply need the number of views to increase. So over the course of the next two weeks, get to watching (and re-watching) and sharing. Post it on your Facebook page, tweet it from your Twitter account, pin it on your Pinterest board, and employ any other social media accounts at your disposal.

They are heavily targeting the Somalis in the refugee camps. Before Al-Shabaab took hold in the South, they were using aid work, and their number 1 focus is Somali Bantu and other minorities in Somalia. I have seen some Lamagoodle who have fallen to the trap set by this people. They may not shake your faith but they are going after other Somalis who are not as well-informed as we are. Knowing them within our community and pushing back is how we can beat them. Remember groups like these thrive in secrecy, so bringing them out into the open should be part of our plan and how they are fooling people who are in a position of not knowing their deen.

Nearly all of us We're born into Islam and come from generations and generations of Islam practicing people. I don't understand how any of us can even entertain these people and their propaganda. Honestly I think they are wasting their time with Somali people. There are tons of Christians who roam in downtown Minneapolis, they specifically stop Somalis. And they hand them books about the bible written in afsomali. I was having dinner with my sister and brother in law, while we were walking in downtown, they stopped my sister and asked her if she was Somali. She said we were all Somali, and these weirdos started talking about Christianity, and how we can be saved from all our sins and we will enter heaven. Me and sissy walked away but knowing my brother in law loves any sort of debate, he started debating them. I swear we went into Macy's, shopped for hours and he's still standing there debating them. We physically pulled him away.

Breh this happened in my neck of woods too. Some knuckle heads knocked on our house. They were having word with my moms and I over hear them. They also had a book in Somali too. I kicked them out and told them not to come back again. They target habro and you know hoyos be like yes yes to everthing without understanding anything most of the time.
