Back in seventies Somalia was closely allied with Soviet union, who were allied with both Ethiopia and Somalia, upon finding out president Mohamed siad barre who wanted to take ogsdenia from Ethiopia through war they warned him, he ignored and attacked then the Soviet gave their full support to Ethiopia which led to the defeat of the Somali army, ultimately this led to our complete discruction, something which we're still recovering from to this day.. Now this could be a lesson to Ethiopia, you know never what power would ultimately side with Somalia if they continue with their aggression and land grapping ambitions.

Obviously China will never support Somaliland. One word: Taiwan.
