This is my new high art photography. The name of this style I made is called Xalimo Qipao Lolita. My art statement is to illustrate the close relationship between China-Somalia. Somalia and China have a long relations in terms of trade, military, culture and language. Somalia and China have a long history of trade and alliances going back to the 1300’s. The first African nation allying with China. With people like Said of Mogadishu (First African to travel to China) & Zheng He (The greatest admiral in Chinese history) both being accepted into courts of the respective nations. I’m wearing a cheongsam with a traditional Somali underskirt called a gorgorad and Aladdin babouche shoes. It’s also a pun on the term Afroasiatic

@onthecloud I got my lip size and short face from my maadow side. My auburn hair, being kinda hairy, & eye shape are from my Amazigh side. Idk, my boyfriend says I look like a stereotypical Somali with very thick lips & slightly tighter curly hair
