ChatGPT creates fake links.

I was toying with the AI to find out if I could resurface expired blogs from the old internet but the AI keeps sending me fake links that lead to nowhere. How do people use AI to support them for serious projects? It’s buggy and unstable.

Because it is LLM, it generates text, based on fed texts, millions of text, and it just generates a text based on your input. For example, it can't solve mathematical problems, instead it give you generated text from another math problem that is similar to yours.

Yeah it doesn’t do well generating links or it’s isn’t a 100%. However if I am doing a research article or a literature review, it does fine bring up relevant articles but you should always double check to make sure

Search up chatgpt hallucinations. Chatgpt does not understand the difference between fact and fiction. It job is ti generate the next most likely word.

Look up the older models


That fake link was what it predicted is the correct next word in its algorithm
