If you actually looked at the IMF reports etc you’ll see we’ve lacked funds for a year since the budget support was cut by the international community after Farmaajo’s attempted extension and government employee salaries are at risk.

That’s why when the election campaign was going on he was twisting the facts to make Farmaajo look good but if you actually looked at the budget you’ll see we lost massive amount of budgetary support and relied on increased taxation revenue from Muqdisho.

They should focus on developing a place where diaspora can invest and live in freely. If they do that everything else will fall into place.

I guess 1 out of the 6 months wages he said is in the government coffers and scheduled to be paid will actually be paid on the 25th this month, but the 5 other paydays are now uncertain, he has basically eaten his own words, then the question is, what happened to those monies ?

I am anti-corruption as much as the next man, but this is beyond corruption, if this government fails to pay wages it shows 2 things.

A. they have looted the funds left behind by the previous government
B. they have failed to generate new income

This will turn the people against the government regardless of clan, right now most people are neutral and at peace, but if daylight robbery is evident 2 months, well that will change..

The people in Somalia are abused and have no power. HSM can loot the nation if he pleases with impunity.

He will increase ATMIS tenure and so won't have to worry about mutiny.
