I think I've got candida in my gut my shit looks awful since this lockdown.
Anyone have some good gut treatments.
Everyone has candida. What you have is an imbalance/overgrowth of it. If you want to support your gut microbiome here are some possible suggestions:
- Eat more leafy greens
- Fibre rich fruit and vegetables- apples, prunes, pears, kiwis, figs, sweet potatoes etc.
- Eat fermented vegetables like sauerkraut
- Try Milk Kefir if you have no issues with dairy, if dairy is a problem try water kefir
- Consider collagen peptides or bovine gelatin (kosher/halaal)
- Cut out heavily processed food/junk and baked goods
- Limit white flour and sugar.
- Engage more so in physical activity (i.e as basic as walking)
-Consider deep breathing exercises or meditation to reduce stress
- Get enough sleep/rest
