Can you trim/cut your own hair?

My hair grows very fast every time I get new hair cut; few weeks afterwards it loses its new hair cut shape and it grows back again. So I decided to give myself small trim with edge fades, I can tell you I have given myself what I normally would pay 15 bucks for. And I'm sure as time passes I will get better at it. So who here can cut their hair with few fuckups?

I learnt since getting a fade and my beard trimmed regularly was costing $25-30 a pop.

Invest in a good trimmer and it will pay for itself relatively quickly.

I bought nice trimmer years back but never used for fear of messing my hair up I finally used them today and the result was not bad

You can let your siblings cut your hair for you, it’s been couple years since I went to a barbershop.

This works when you are ready to cut all of your hair.

I used to cut my older brother hair cause that was his style

How are you so sure? have you held a mirror to look at the back yet? post a pic if your so confident. Why do i have a feeling that you fucked up you hair and are looking to comfort yourself here.

I used two mirrors, I gave myself fade it's very easy to do.

I didn't do full hair cut only trimmed the sides with casual fade, I can tell u it's very easy. I used the trimmer without the Clippers that makes it more easy, all you need to do is pick starting spot and stick to it all the way

I give myself a buzzcut regularly. I only really go to barbers nowadays for a shape up or if I need a fade.

My hairline is pretty neat anyway, I go barbers once a fortnight/month to get it touched up. Costs like £3 and takes 5 mins.
