Yep, with my parents we would go on a camp, near the beaches with their friends.
From early in the morning to late afternoon, we would swim, dive, then have some rest while having our snacks.

After a traumatic flood, I couldn't swim until when I learned (from one friend, she was a supportive person who helped me with it)

Kinda miss swimming (despite living near beaches, in the South West of France)

taught myself how to swim, although very inefficiently. I then got better it in highschool swimming classes when I’d practice a lot.

Now I’m fairly confident in my swimming skills, nothing impressive though.

I remember camping on the beach every friday, 6am to 6pm with my boys for so many years swimming and playing football all day sometimes even on thursdays , we lived very close to the beach.
