Can we talk about these muslim men marrying any westerner and claiming they are “people of the book”?

Like seriously, the other day I saw this video of a non muslim girl complaining about her longtime muslim boyfriend leaving her and getting married to his cousin. Someone made a video stitching saying why was he even with her and the comments were full of muslim men saying “we can marry who we want” “we can marry people of the book”, like that wasn’t a whole haram relationship but ok I guess rules only apply to one gender to these guys.

like it could be kim kardashian and they’d claim they can marry her.

These dudes have way less strict rules yet do everything to bend it even more.

Here are some rules:

It is known that there are certain conditions sought for women who are declared to be permissible to marry in Islam. For example: Coming from a generation that has always been from the People of the Book, being chaste, not belonging to a community that is hostile to Islam and Muslims, the marriage in question not being against the interests of Islam in general, etc.


1. They must be chaste. They must be religious and observing of their deen. The christian only on Christmas is 90% of the west lmao.

2. They come from a religious household.

3. She can’t come from a community that is hostile to Muslims. Now seriously idk what this means exactly because the west hates Muslims and are trying to destroy us, so that’s a little awkward.

So many scholars have banned it for a reason but they don’t care for those fatwas lol. It’ll be up to them on the day of judgement to answer for their half Christian half muslim children.

I suspect that Muslim men who marry non-Muslim women, are probably men who are Zanis who are already sleeping with their girlfriends, so they want to make it palatable for their parents. That's why they'll claim their girlfriends are 'people of the book', even if she only goes to church once a year, for Easter.
What normal Muslim man would marry a 'Christian' or 'Jewish' woman in this day and age. During the prophet SAW's time, Christian and Jewish women also covered up and were modest etc. I'm also sure that the Bible wasn't as bastardised and edited as it is now.

These men are dooming their own children for a lifetime of confusion and heartbreak and they don't care (refer to my first sentence).

Yes and one thing that never made sense to me is that they must marry a religious woman yet in Christianity and Judaism, they aren’t allowed to marry non-believers, so how would a religious person end up in this situation?

i always found that rule to be a bit off, it sounds like made up male territorial BS . Vast, vast majority of children from those types of unions become non muslim anyway

If you marry a person of the book it can’t be someone who just wears a cross, she has to be very practicing, and chaste. Can’t be the average gaalo who’s family is Christian

Even if you do get married, your risking your children’s akhira. They will be torn between two words and both families will try to sway the children to their faith. Personally I wouldn’t risk it and go for a non Muslim woman

Most scholars have said that today it is not relevant. That it should be actively discouraged and that it’s permissibility is questionable with your average western Christian.

Whats disturbing is that these Muslim men call Muslim women slootz and wh0res for wearing hijab and pants or not wearing hijab at all. Meanwhile their ‘wife’ has 20 bodies.
