I work in a hospital so we have a lot of the cleaners, cooks, some in the medical field who are from Ethiopia so I talk to them a Tigray told me a genocide is going on against them so did the Ahmara girl, and the Oromo girl so I don't know who to believe or what also Oromos don't believe Abiy is even half Oromo super weird.

There is a war in Tigray, between the govt of Ethiopia, with its ally Eritrea, against the TPLF and of course, by default, the civilians of Tigray suffer as a result. Most of the TPLF elites are on the run, some were captured, others were killed. The Tigrayan militia's mostly crumbled during the initial fighting, but some are re-grouping, recruiting, and starting another guerrilla war in Tigray.
Abiy has admitted that the guerrilla war there, is ''exhausting.''

Eritrea's government is mostly in it for revenge against the TPLF, which once ruled Ethiopia & tried to go as far as overthrowing the Eritrean regime & installing a puppet govt there, that was one of the main goals of the 1998-2000 war; to get some of Eritrea's land including the seaport of Massawa, to add to their ''republic of tigray,'' since they assumed, and rightfully so, that they wouldn't be able to rule Ethiopia for much longer due to their being a minority in the country.
