Tekniko, I was Turkey Stanbul a year ago and I rented my Hotel this App Booking.com Download it,It easy some of the hotels you have to pay forward by visa or debit cards,I think this times the hotels are very cheap because they’ve lock down in turkey.

Booking.com is good in the UAE too. Used it before myself when I needed to get away for a weekend

Listen, when you get to Istanbul airport hop on the Havais bus that’ll take you to the city. Tell them you headed to Sultanahmed. The cost is only $4.
if you chose a private van to take you then it’ll cost you $40. Unnecessary.
I’ll show you a video off of YouTube. Let me know if you wanna see it with your own eyes. (How to get the metro card. A card that you can top it up as you go ).

How are you going to UK? Do you have status?

You might be refused entry or spend a week in isolation and you will spend close to USD 2.5K eating sandwiches.
Turkey is also on lockdown too.

At the airport just exchange $20. Airport exchange rates are ridiculous. Once you enter the city you’ll see all these exchange Stores.

The bus only take Istanbul Card.
