The UN's refugee agency says the UK must stop placing single Ukrainian women fleeing the invasion in the homes of single British men, the Guardian reported.

Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the UK government launched the "Homes for Ukraine" scheme, which saw more than 150,000 people offer up rooms in their homes to those fleeing the invasion.

However, several UK media reports have detailed how British men are targeting vulnerable single Ukrainian women arriving in the country, in some cases asking for sexual contact in return for accommodation.

A spokesperson for the UN's High Commissioner for Refugees told the Guardian that "a more appropriate matching process" was needed so that single women could be paired with with women or families.

As expected right wing media turned a blind eye to these reports.

Tbh, i've seen this attitude amongst every ethnic group, even ours. Only difference is that cadaans have the power to be hypocritical on a mass scale. Forget Dhabcasar, I don't know the Ins and outs of this situation, but I do remember he married two and if things were going well for them, he wouldn't have been able to marry even 1. Definitely took advantage of their war and poverty, even though at least he offered them halal marriage. But from what i can see he isn't married to them anymore.

But Dhagasas men from other nations were literally leaving their countries to get with young 13-14 yr olds for cheap. As soon as the war started, the 1st thing men did was to try and aquire pretty brides who in their minds are on a sale. It kind of reminds me of when a shop is about to close for good and everyone takes advantage of the massive discounts.

I'm sure you know what goes on in Hyderabad. Many Somali and Arab men have caused havoc in the lives of these little Indian girls. Its sad the way many men are sexually motivated. Ask yourself, why is it as soon things started to go shit for them, men across the Arab world started going to refugee camps to try and get Syrian fathers to give their daughters away to foreign men for next to nothing?!

Luckily for Somalis, we have dhiig and pride and since we are dark skinned, dhagaasas men don't like us. But imagine if they thought we were desirable and foreign men were going to your toolo bribing poor Somali fathers to give their daughters to them for $500? What would be your honest reaction?

My mate's wife was telling about some hippy upper-middle-class girl who took in a Ukrainian woman. Apparantly the Ukrainian's a nightmare and just drinks cheap vodka whilst smoking atleast 2 packs a day lol

Have you seen the other one? Barely 20.He married them during the height of the civil war in which men from different Arab nations where marrying them en masse and Syrian fathers were allowing their daughters to marry men from other nations out of poverty and instability. Syrians in Syria, are similar to Somalis. They like to give their daughters only to fellow Syrians. They have issues with their daughters marrying other Arabs. I even said earlier that I don't know the specific ins and outs and for all we know he could have married them in the West. In that situation my point doesn't stand in regards to Dabacasir.

Mate, I don't know why some of the Somali guys here think i'm implying they can't get foreign women. The insecurity here is sad.
