This is why it is very important to really consider who you marry for both the men and the women. If you end up marrying a unstable person simply for looks or finances this can end up happening to you. May Allah protect us all.

She could have gone to her qabil men and they could give her a divorce. Her action is criminal. Walaahi she needs to pay. I propose shooting her and killing her in public so that other women will shake with fear even to think of this action

Don’t force a woman to stay with you. You can’t keep people hostage. Funnily enough, the reason why divorce is halal in Islam despite being disliked is to prevent fitnah like this. Islamically a woman can get a divorce via Khula if she dislikes her husband, but due to Somalis and their corrupt ways and a lack of decent Islamic courts, woman can be chained to a man for life, whilst he can marry again and just live his life whilst she’s in limbo.

She’s sold her akhira for this, and what she did is grossly immoral and haram, but Whilst I feel sad for him due to losing his sight, I’ve seen first hand the trauma of women being forced to stay with a man. Sometimes, the qabil, brothers and the whole world get involved but as a way to punish the woman, the husband despite everyone speaking to him will force her to stay with him and stop her from being able to move on. Imagine the rage and contempt this produces and how easy the shaytan can exasperate a situation.

Like I said, it’s situations like this why divorce is seen as the lesser of evils since it can prevent real evil and chaos. Now she’s lost her akhira and could now suffer punishment, her kids might lose their mother ect.

As for the man, why do you think you can hold people hostage? Why? I hope this becomes a lesson for Somalis since men not divorcing women they don’t even like anymore is a common thing they do to break women down.
