Among those a boy nick named 'Xaaji' who was only 13 years old. He died after a phone mugging it is believed after an assailant shot them.

Mayor of Gaalkacyo Yaasiin Cabdisamad said after the assailant had been captured and taken into custody he was forcefully released by his subclan after they went there armed

This is despicable the slaining that is but what truly disgusting and apprehensive is that a suspect who slained the boy and injured others after a failed phone mugging was forcefully taken out of custody by his subclan.

The suspected mugger that shot him was forcefully released from custody.

In another case where a 12 year girl was brutally murders by 7 men in the same city many voiced the same fear especially as 5 are from powerful clans.

Others indicate that another slaining which I reported in my initial post which was not the murderer of Xaaji was forcefully released by his clansmen from custody.

There is no rule of law abided by Gaalkacyo residents.

If you hail from a powerful clan no matter what crime you have committed your clansmen will release you.
