He needs the EV tax credit to keep Tesla afloat , that's why Elon Musk is raging like a mad man against the bill.
He could care less about the spending or debt increase that may happen due to the bill, because the only thing he used DOGE for was to eliminate legal hurdles and investigations into his companies. They actually spent more money and saved less than the previous admin the first months.
So it's all about securing a better deal and situation for his companies.
Whereas Trump actually used Elon to win the election and carry out the early stages of his Project 2025 government down sizing and now he tossed him aside like yesterdays news after his popularity tanked, so he outlived his usefulness to him. Now Elon is looking for revenge.
