BOMBSHELL: I’ve been living a lie… my real name is not Mo Farah and I was child trafficked after my dad was killed. I was treated like a slave.

Why would he go to the tabloids with this?

Wonder whether they were going to do an expose on him and he wanted to get ahead of it or whether they paid him handsomely for this.

Absolute madness.

Maybe both control the narrative and the fact that the Conservative party is crumbling with their send the refugees to Rwanda act . So he’ll be seen in a good light

They might've got the story first.

But also might just be because he has a BBC documentary out on July 13 that goes through his history and past where they meet the real Mo Farah etc.

Like @ImanStan001 says refugees and illegal migrants is a big story here with the Rwanda policy recently announced

The 2012 Olympics legendhad always insisted his father was an IT consultant called Muktar who was born and brought up in London.
However, his father was actually a farmer called Abdi

This put me off guard :dead::dead::dead:

Hussein Farax loves to shorten Muslim names. Mo for Mohamed and now it’s just Abdi

Maybe they like it there? Only way it makes sense
True, there are people that don't like leaving their homes no matter what. I remember watching an interview about akon in which he wanted to get his grandmom out of her village in Senegal but she refused so he just bought her solar panels so she could have electricity.

If I grew up there and was given access to everything I needed I probably wouldn't leave either. Why go to a foreign land when you can have everything you want plus all your friends and family around you?
