If you guys think they wont help Somaliland army, you are delusional. They've done it before and it's to secure their asset and help bring stability in the region. It's in their best interest that SL army is the absolute force in all Somaliland regions.(Sool and Sanaag especially)

This base will be an even more expensive version of the one in Assab, Eritrea and they will help with enforcing SL seas with a coastal surveillance system, train and equip SL army. COME ON.

In all honesty 'somaliland' ain't that important to Dubai like Puntland and Jubaland is which is the only real challenger against the hawiye/qatar/turkey alliance whom they are fighting to stop it's advancement into Somalia and turning into a state allied to those nations. I don't fear this at all and besides it's not even SL equipments, they will take it when their gone.

Sharmarke told them to go to Berbera, I remember because refused to host them because they wanted a safe spot to refuel, have uae soldiers based in, their more interested in the yemen conflict and we don't want PL involved in that or seen choosing sides.
