Big Corruption news Finance Minister fends himself from accusation from Mudug Regional Auditor

Mudug Regional Auditor General for the Ministry of Finance Barkhadle Aadan accussed the Minister of Finance Abdullahi Said Arshe Dhaqaje of corruption after he has been suspended on 17/6/18 and told to vacate the position.

Barkhadle is alleged to have embazzled $99000 that was intended for the Darawiish Forces of Mudug.

Barkhadld hit back anc said that when the Finance Minister was first named he only had $1000 in his account and today has $155000 he also said more money has been withdrawn.

The Finance Minister Arshe accussed Barkhadle the Mudug Auditor of depositing $99000 that was intended for the Dervish Mudug forces and that he had been suspended because of that accussation and investigation set up.

Probably revenge for his sacking. We'll have to wait for the details but corruption is one of the big things holding our country back and exposing officials involved may help in fighting corruption.

I agree . What we need is a Botswana style corruption whistle blower hotline that people can anonymously report corruption to an independent organisation which then can be passed on to police.
