#BellLetsTalk about the estimated 1/3 of Somalis who suffer from mental illness today. This is a serious problem in our community that I hope we can fight together.

I know of a few Somalis who killed themselves because of mental illness.

I've created this thread as a reminder to all of us to take mental illness as a serious matter and help any friends, family members or strangers fight it.

Somalis think mental health is a death sentence. They are not very supportive when it comes to mental health!
