Being Fat as a man

I advice every Muslim brother on here to NEVER reach a point where you are FAT. Being fat as a Muslim man is very unbeneficial, Being fat physically stops you from various acts which is mandatory for us Muslim men.

Praying Salah - Praying Salah will be very difficult for you, you will struggle doing few movements and some aspects of praying might be uncomfortable like when doing tashahud. Since you will lack flexibility, you will find positions like this painful and you're literally crushing your lower legs with all that upper body weight. Then you will end up seeing prayers as a struggle. Plus, in the masjid you will be taking up a lot of space.

Being a protector - In order to protect your wife, daughter, sister or mother, you need to be physically capable and fit to a certain degree. We must also be with them when they want to travel so how can you manage that when being fat?
Being a provider - You need to go work, you need to be active mentally and physically in order to work. As you get fatter, you get lazier and everything becomes difficult and long. Like you are in charge of providing for your families, how can you do that when you have a lazy mindset? Plus, you wouldn't be able to do certain jobs that require physical labour.

Being fat will lower your confidence and you might even develop anxiety and other mental disorders. As a Muslim man, you need to be confident in your body and you cant do that when you're fat. The further you stay fat, the more anxiety you will get, this will cause you to stop socialising, as well as stop you from praying in the masjid, or even helping your family members out with shopping.

Point of the message - don't let yourself become fat as this will cause a lot of difficulties to you as a man, not just physically but mentally. And if you are fat, do everything in your power to lose weight.

This Ramadan, eat one plate of dinner and while fasting do stretches or few exercises. Buy weights for £50, Download "Dumbell challenge at home". Do one of these exercises after taraweeh. STAY CONSISTENT because the hardest part of being fat is being NOT DETERMINED and CONSISTENT. have patience because you wont lose the weight in one month, it will likely take a year to fully lose the weight you want.

IF youre FAT, losing this should be your number one priority
