Behind the Scenes --

I put Books to the Test of Life
"The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes." -Disraeli

Disorders, revolutions, economic upheavals, and political convulsions don't spontaneously occur; they are the result of meticulous planning. Beneath the surface, unknown to the general public, constant plots, schemes, tricks, and intrigues unfold.

Hidden forces persist in their subterranean activities until they reach a boiling point, leading to an eruption on the surface. The ordinary masses are caught off guard, and a devastating outburst follows, claiming lives, destroying property, and hindering human development.

It's only when the storm breaks that the sleeping masses awaken, realizing the wreckage and carnage, but often too late to make a difference. History is filled with examples of such occurrences.

International conspirators find it advantageous to keep the public in a state of slumber until their plots are so advanced that nothing can impede them. A man in a stupor is harmless, and these manipulators have ways of keeping the popular mind befuddled and drugged, under the influence of their opiates. Awakening rarely happens in time to avert a crisis.

Propaganda, a powerful tool in the hands of nefarious individuals, can warp the thinking of an entire nation on a particular question in a short time. Carefully planned and timed ideas released through propaganda sources seep into the mass mind, moulding the community accordingly. People then take these ingrained ideas for granted, unaware that they are echoing false notions insidiously introduced into their mental processes.

Designing leaders can bring about ruin and destruction by pulling strings from behind the scenes. They generate cross currents, foster class hatreds, all while keeping their true intentions concealed. The average person, content to live on the surface, often remains oblivious to hidden evils lurking in the shadows. Preferring to "eat, drink, and be merry today," they give little thought to the future. Attempts to convey unpleasant truths and warn of impending events might be met with disbelief, akin to the farmer who, upon seeing a giraffe for the first time, angrily exclaimed, "I don't believe it!"
