Oh yeah, I found a Somali historical documentary called Birth of a Nation. No one can tell me that it wasn’t intentional. The first one was made in 1915 and the Somali version called out in 1960....... Dear god, my boyfriend and my mum says we have superiority complexes and they ain’t wrong. Both. I’m Maadow on my mum’s side. My dad’s side is Tuareg/Somali. My Somali side came over to America during the 1930-40s . I think the first Somalis to arrive in America was 1920s? . I know that they were mainly sailors, though. I don’t know my original qabil because I’m estranged from my dad and my parents are divorced
