lipAny girl here ever been tempted to go down the filler and Botox route? Anyone do it? What invasive beauty procedures have you tried?

Guys how would you feel about a prospective with Botox and fillers if you didn’t notice it but she reveals it?

I don't notice all these beauty things but when I hang out with girls and they start talking about it my mind goes blank cause I don't give af about it.

If someone were to preform cosmetic surgery on themselves for the sole purpose of beauty then I would definitely look at them differently. The most I've used for beauty was a slightly more expensive face wash and a towel.

The only time I ever really notice people with those kinds of faces is at the dermatologist or at a medspa. I’m not tempted to do those things simply because I am not surrounded by it. And because I believe doing this to myself is a sign of insecurity. What would I need filler or Botox for?

People where you’re at are not aware of the trend to get rid of those things now? I read celebs are dissolving and removing things these days.

I know there is a celebrity trend to remove BBLs and implants. People here don’t do that unless it’s a subtle body contouring.

I don't really know much about this topic but I think at least some of this stuff.... doesn't it fall under changing the creation of Allah?

in response to the question to men as to how men would feel.... to me it is something that would bother me. I don't want what is unnatural but what is raw and authentic. not plastic and artificial.

these days there's all sorts of artificiality. shallowness. materialism. I want to be away from that kind of thing. and I wouldn't want it to have established a base within my own home. I am very strongly against artificial procedures.

I want to go towards what is natural and get further away from what's artificial. I personally would not pursue anything with a woman if I knew she'd had procedures. she doesn't need to look like some kind of artificial, plastic image of what a woman supposedly should look like. she just needs to look okay and be pious.

I'm good when it comes to enhanced girls. If I have kids they're gonna look like her before the work anyway

"I'm good" as in not interested, right? that is definitely how I feel... I would lose all interest if I learned a woman was like that.... to me she would be less of a woman, more of a Frankenstein.... I would like to marry a woman, not a Frankenstein

I’m talking minor and I mean minor tweaks that you wont notice unless she points it out. Like filler for her undereye to get rid of darkness. A little of Botox to smooth skin. I’m not talking about clear and major changes that look fake.

but why follow these kinds of trends? I'm just saying- as the OP directly asked how men would feel.... if a woman wants to follow a trend like this, what other kind of trend is she going to want to follow? and what other kind of superficial trend will she want to bring into the house?

I'm an unusual case in many ways- a lot of my life is in opposition to following trends. a lot of times there is a trend and I am in opposition to it. and I want my house to be an oasis of freedom from the dictatorship of whatever the trends are in the society, where an independent course can be charted. and I would like to be the benevolent leader, not any outside superficial trends. if I get married and I want to steer things in a wrong direction then wallahi I hope my wife stands up to me and opposes me. in that case, she absolutely should. but no way do I want there to be a conflict where she's fighting with me because she's gotten pulled into some superficial and shallow trend and I don't want to go along with it. so I would personally not consider any woman who is into the elective procedures thing. I worry at some point she would fight me for the wrong reasons.

if it's just very minor and not noticeable stuff and there really is a legit reason- and she's not super insistent, I don't think it's a huge deal.... but if she's really serious about getting all sorts of unnecessary procedures, it would really bother me

I don’t think it’s a trend. The root cause is insecurity or maybe a need to look better which is a lot more than a trend, it’s a timeless concern for women, but while many are satisfied with a trip to the salon or Spa, the new gen are taking it a step too far and a lot of it is being afraid of aging and a huge emphasis on beauty due to social media. Never in the history of man have men and women been exposed to that many good looking people. It’s a disease and I don’t think our minds can hack seeing that many people who are above average and some who don’t even really look like themselves but a fantasy version. What has happened is that men’s standards have risen and women’s own personal standards as to how they should look has also risen. It’s scary because social media has exploited man’s preoccupation of beauty. Women have always sough beauty and men have always viewed it as a currency, but now it’s verged on the unnatural and an inability to accept aging women.

You need to marry someone who is very conscious of the evils of the beauty industry and how it exploits men and women’s obsession with beauty. It’s more than a trend and women have always been insecure about their appearance or an aspect of it, hence exercising self-love and making your wife feel beautiful at all times plays a key role.

I'm not a psychologist and I can't act as anyone's psychologist. If the matter is unnecessary cosmetic procedures and a potential wife is insistent on them- she has to find some other guy.

Securities, insecurities- as a general principle, I'm not someone that's going to try to dictate what people think (unless I become a ruler and there's some open murtads). She can feel however it is she feels but- no being insistent on unnecessary cosmetic procedures.
