I think it was naivety, but most definitely not malicious. He worked for the BBC, and has 500k followers, so posting a racist tweet is nonsensical as he'd definitely lose everything. I get why they fired him, but think it's a bit sad that someone is losing his livelihood and being branded a racist over a naive tweet.

Maya Jama has naturally straight/wavy hair while Meghan Markle has 3B curly hair. Markle's nose is also less Caucasian than Jama's, however, Markle is lighter than her. They look equally nonwhite to me, especially if Markle were to wear her hair in a natural state.
