Wasting ur time in other ppl land is the worst clan strategy, they will economically isolate u and turn u into a ghetto or even harm you in other ways like u witness here in Hamar becuz u will never control the local govt and therefore have no say in it's future. If u waste decades doing this, it's a better trade off staying and focusing on your land. Somalis always look outwards whether foreign or other clans, it shows an inferiority complex.

That's one thing I respect about reer puntland. They left xamar in 1991 and focused on devoping their lands in puntland.

God says in Islam he made human supreme over the environment not the environment supreme. PL environment may not be blessed relative to other ppl land, but it's focusing on creating a blessed people like Israel-Singapore. Somalis think the environment is supreme to the people.

PL realized squabbling over land is pathetic and actually may show an inferiority complex becuz Somalis always look outward to foreign becuz their inferior, if they look outwards also locally, u can safely assume a similar inferior complex in a somali context.

Today the clans r competing on standing on their own and competing, not 'sharing' and hiding under 1 centralized govt like the past when noone knowing with certainity who is productive and who is unproductive under that format. Now somalis all went back to region to put the spotlight on which area is unproductive or the problem.

Anyone who can see the future is preparing their clans and areas in local-regional-federal context so their not the future missisipi of america and insulted or seen as the national problem in state recovery when other regions don't suffer their problems.

That is a good point. If you look at a lot of middle eastern countries they don't have nothing but oil but still thrive .

Israel had minimal farming land, dryest region, no natural resources just a well developed human capital, same with singapore. Their number 1 resource is their people which is better then resources which will run out or climate change effecting their blessed environment.
