Empowering to do what?
Increasing the labour market while the pay rise dips?

We know the law of suppy and demand when the labour suppy is more than demand the wages fall so people end up working longer hrs for less pay or having two jobs still not being able to afford keeping afloat and catering for basic needs.

Its pure slavery and exploitation of human race especially the females the destruction of family life where children end up in day care and kindergatens and grow up disconected from the family and hence easy for govt to indoctrinate them and govt get taxes in return.

Bangladesh used to be one of the richest regions in the world. In the 18th century, it accounted for 12 % of the world’s gdp whilst having 3.8 % of the world’s population, roughly the same as China. The economy of Bangladesh then was more than all of Western Europe combined. The British looted and stole so much from the region which is why it became so poor.
