The issue with single women over a certain age is that their pool of dating choices narrow due to usually wanting someone the same age or older than them, this is why I’d imagine it’s harder for a forever single Xalimo to find someone at 35 as opposed to 25 when there is still a lot of unmarried men your age and older. It’s got nothing to do with women looking less desirable after 30 as women can still look very youthful and attractive until their mid to late 30s, in the rare cases even 40s.

desperate probably isn’t the right word, it’s more anxiety over the lack of options available as you get older as well as the social stigma and otherness you feel around family and friends.
