Hold talks with Alshabaab clearly there is no force inside Somalia that can defeat Alshabaab but to hold talks with them and ask them what is it that they want ,maybe create a proper goverment where Alshababa have a say. its been almost 15 years since ALSHABAB is FIGHTING. isis dacish and alqeada jihadist , Ahmed shara was a former jihadist and now president of Syria. We cant expect to have different result doing the same thing over over again, Fighting Alshabaab isnt working, sheekada w wa in hadal lugu dara.

Nah it will end surely in a few years as the foreign troops will not stay much longer with funding drying up and so either the fgs will adapt and reform to save themselves or will just be defeated and al shabaab will take over the south.

Yes, talks are futile as al shabaab believes they have the upper hand in the war and have to just want out until the foreign troops leave. The fgs would need to first retake the areas they lost this year and then put pressure on core areas of al shabaab to bring the to the table if thats even possible.
