Let me ask you a question, one day your out and about doing what ever shopping etc, and you run into two or three guy's, they are clearly talking shit about you. You ignore it and then one of them bravely decides to walk towards your way and bumps shoulder to shoulder against you on purpose with malicious intent and tells you watch where you are walking , what is your next response ? since you feel normally inclined that this word is not in the least bit offensive to you, what do you do ?

I wouldn't respond or even react to what he said to me, since it means nothing to me. Instead i will talk about why he bumped into me when he clearly has more space to walk on. Since that's the important part. Insults are nothing but verbal, but bumping into someone is a physical aggression.
