I wonder what global capitalism will do when the last frontier, Africa, is fully developed. I don't buy all this space colonization stuff but that seems the only recourse for a system predicated on the notion of nonstop growth.China & East Asia aren't the future, they're the present.
Their trajectory shall continue till around the 2040s, from there they are gonna face real issues, mainly with their populations. Not enough working age people which is a demographic crisis, and their cultures hates immigration to almost neurotic levels (understandable though). Impossible to retain their current economic growth, and unlike in Europe, not gonna import a bunch of immigrants to stimulate the economy. Probably going to stagnate like Japan
Africa and Africans are the future. Bold prediction, but by the end of the 21st century, .sub Saharan Africans are going to be bigger than current Chinese + Indian populations combined in terms of global reach + influence, but also they're going to have near 1st world level development due to Biotech and advancement in AI.
