A cousin, not a close cousin but an adequately removed one, has always had a thing for me. Not much of a shocker tbh. Every girl I have ever met has had a thing for me. I am very good looking guys. Not even bullshiting. Anyway, she's finally decided to try and put a ring on my handsome ass.

She has her dad calling my house and my cell every day dropping hints about marriage between us. Her siblings and friends blow up my social media to pressure and intrigue me. They're being roundabout since it's improper for the girl or her family to initiate a marriage proposal. Thus, they need me to initiate the marriage proposal.

The only problem is that I don't like this girl. She is totally not my type and I care more about appearances than I do personality. She is a kindhearted, polite, and respectable girl, but she is light skin. I can't marry someone that is light skin.

However, I do care about this girl, so I would rather avoid any bad blood between us. How can I let her down easily without hurting her or her family?

Do I have no other choice than to feign homosexuality?
