arguing with people online

I don't know how some people can do that all day. these people won't even argue with you on what you said, they bring in 50 other irrelevant side things or just start making something up and argue about that.

today is offcially my last time doing so

I know what you mean man. Sometimes trying to explain a fundamental thing like "1+1 = 2"; will cause people to write paragraphs because they couldn't think for just a lil bit.

so much arguments would be avoided if people just stop and read every single word and not create new ones in their heads. but they just to win against someone smh

Yeah arguments get derailed fast then you fall for the strawman and end up going for days

Online and offline, arguments are exhausting tbh. For me having a peace of mind is more important than giving someone piece of my mind.

My only guess is that it’s a form of entertainment. I would rather end the convo than allow myself to look like a fool arguing for argument’s sake. Some people just don’t see when a conversation or discussion is futile.
