I know a Somali person (male) whose embarrassed to be seen in public with their hijab wearing family members (not jilbab) ...wondering if anyone here shares similar sentiments based on recent threads.

This individual will not spend time out socially with family members such as going bowling, movies because of this, also won't openly greet them in public if with friends.

Its usually people who are insecure to begin with, and have social anxiety.

It could be anything that triggers this behavior like a loud mouth uncle you don't like to be seen in public with.

It seems very specific to hijab, but it's good to give people excuses. Also, doesn't it mainly develop in childhood/teen years.

What.... A true Alpha male would be proud of his Family regardless of what society aka cadaan people think..

He is a BETA CUCK ..

I thought alpha males idealized cadaan women perhaps this is his way of trying to seem less foreign to them.

Not really. How old is he? If he's a grown man, he has issues.

Grown ~24

If its on mainstream media, don't believe it
If it was the other way around where he refused to be seen with non hijabi family members in public i'd understand
