I like it a lot, there is always constant renovation in the city and people seem hopeful. Which i find interesting as many diaspora somalis are pessimistic about Somalia's future.
The people can be overwhelming sometimes but maybe its due to culture shock as in the uk people usually are reserve and keep to themselves. However in hargaisa people will come up to you and strike a convo.
There are obvious living standards issues but inshallah that will all be fixed in due time.

You should go on vacation across Somaliweyn every summer, that's my plan next year Inshallah. I want to visit the ancient city of Warsheikh in the South. There is going to be an investment gold rush by all Somalis of in every area of Somalia if things called down soon and we get semi-stable. Allah gave us one the most beautiful countries on earth
That's only if you're in the baadiya, if you're in xamar there's stuff to do
Muqdisho became boring after few weeks.
Only went to Afgooye and Warsheikh on day trip different occasions. Darul Salam is over rated af.
Xamar Wayne is lit, it's a completely different atmosphere if u go there
I have relatives who are Ashraaf living in Xamar weyne. Its ghetto as fuk but they know how to cook, they aint playing.
Yh especially at the sea near the fish market
, I just like it since its different to the other areas in Mogadishu, I went there to meet my uncles wife's family. I lived in xamar jadiid tho it's pretty clean over there but there are to many ciyaal that throw rocks at each other
yeah I am in africa. I spend my time between Jigjiga, Nairobi and Kismayo.
How long was the drive to Afgooye and Warsheikh from Xamar?

Xamar to Afgooye is roughly half an hour to 40 minutes. Xamar to warsheihk is hour and half nearly 2 hours. If xamar warsheihk road was built it would have been like 40 mins as well
