I think we are, honestly. Although i am Muslim, i am somewhat "racist" still i identify with the Liberal party. Why? I mean, Islamically i should vote for republican yet i vote for Democrats. Abortion is a big ticket for republicans, yet i am reluctantly supporting the Dems Pro choice. (somehow i feel freedom should be inherent & free, only checked by Gods law which is between you and your creator God) Why can't i vote for republican party tho? I feel like there is an intellectual dishonesty going on within myself. is it self interest? The "state assistance" perks? Or i just don't like people Who are yelling -- Go back to where you came from?

Why am i so liberal? Especially now when i am growing to know God, and gradually be religious. Tis confounds me exceedingly

I actually agree with this quote. It makes sense. Conservative is all about leave my money and don't tax us.

Basra darling I’m a conservative, I voted for the Tory party back in 2019, I voted for brexit init back in 2016, a memorable moment. I actually displayed my conservatism unlike Somalis here in the U.K., who are ‘conservatives at heart’ but vote labour for welfare/benefits but deep down they’re laughing.

Society looks to youth with optimism. The youth feel required to have an opinion. Most seldom have the discernment and experiences to see the world for what it truly is. That is until they age. And by then they're old aged conservatives as the youth seem them.

Liberal/ Conservative, Right /Left , Dem and Republican dichotomy is new and American phenomenon, America inntially had different parties up to 5 and 6 competing for the majority up until the late 1800s and early 1900. Even now most other countries and in the EU there are many different political parties something about the Autistic American mind that loves binaries

I’m well aware. I studied History and Economics, was elite at both. I have good understanding of Marxism and Keynes. I just don’t agree it’s good for a poor developing country. Unrestrained capitalism and truly free markets have proved to be massive growth drivers.

I do think when you become a middle income country you need to transition to social democracy.

I’d love to be a fed ngl. My mi5 graduate interviews sucked tho.
