We need to nationalize the bended daggers (Billaawe) carried by Somali nomads which is quite popular in the Somali region (Ogaden) & Djibouti. We can even place Golden covers over them to make it more appeasing to the eyes like the Yemenis do with their Jambiya

imo that look is too yemeni i believe somali should carry the traditional long sword which looks more badass.

No your thinking about the Ethiopian Curved Sword It was primarly used to hit someone behind the sheild.
What i want to see is somalis rocking the long sword like this

However in this photo the sword looks foreign it would be better if somalis rocked their trad sword.
