I agree the loud majority aren’t as knowledgeable or practicing in all aspects of life. But there are still many who are equal or even more religious than in qurbaha.

The large number of masjid and dugsi there would make one think everyone is on diin. But there’s still a disconnect as it doesn’t change them from within. How do people live with such cognitive dissonance?

Yes there are lots of Somalis who are practicing and religious but they're outnumbered by the fake wadaadyo who will only pray at the mosque when they're outside with their friends.
