if you want to do anything in a somali household it seems like you have to wait until you can move out :icon lol: too much hassle and not enough support. you can't even tell people don't touch this, or leave this alone they will trample all over it.

My dad was a chess grand master. Back in the kacaan era there was several chess competitions in muqdisho, he won them all. So as kids we would play chess. I joined my universities chess society.

even something as small as chess wouldn't fly at my house, all the pieces would go missing one by one :icon e biggrin:
