Are crushes haram?

Because technically, Allah tells us to lower our gaze from looking at the opposite sex but finding someone attractive without doing anything doesn't necessarily make it haram right? Me personally, my crushes don't last more than 2 weeks, I am not trying to catch any imaginary virtual feelings for a man who don't know me, smh
