These are Assad allied tribes men. After the failure of ISIL and the splinter movements of Jihadist organisations, most of the Arab sunnis ended up backing Assad now against the Kurds.
Arab sunnis make up 60% of Syria but have been completely made into tools by other parties using them as cannon fodder.

These are anti-Assad fighters. They've clearly expressed their support for the anti-Assad revolution. Some of them have even attacked positions jointly held by the SDF & SAA and have been subjected to Russian airstrikes in retaliation.

That's an SDF lie. I've seen them wave the Syrian revolutionary flag multiple times. The SDF are just coping. These miltiias have even celebrated the death of Iranian president Raisi! I do not endorse this account but he has exposed this lie before.
