Arab monarchs are kinda like puppets. That consolidate power by the superpowers.

You don't really see coups and riots in Saudi Arabia because the US would crush it immediately. As it's mutually beneficial for a stable Saudi Arabia.

The truth is there's only a handful of countries that can truly act independently. USA, China and Russia. That's it.

France and Britain can't make big boy moves without their daddy America.

Arab monarchies operate successfully due to their provision of universal welfare and other programs that cater to the needs of their citizens. This societal structure resembles the prosperity seen by the fat people in UP. The average saudi citizen has a governement job where they put in about an hour of work a day.

In contrast, in societies relying on taxation from the labor force and corporate revenue, citizens tend to be more involved. The prospect of funding megaprojects with hard-earned taxes evokes frustration when these endeavors precede an improvement in the overall standard of living.

Examining China and Arab monarchies highlights stark differences in their mega-projects. China focuses on utility-driven initiatives such as the Three Gorges Dam, extensive high-speed rail networks, and massive tunnels to connect connectivity. Meanwhile, Arab projects often lean towards vanity, exemplified by structures like the Burj Khalifa, sinking artificials island and the horrendous city plans like NEOM.

In Somalia, our wealth lies in our people, not abundant resources. Acknowledging this, we recognize the importance of democratic participation and oversight to prevent a repeat of past grievances. Federalism and democratic checks and balances aim to curtail any concentration of power and ensure equitable governance.

Coups usually come from the military, to thwart that threat most resort to mercenaries, like the UAE, Jordan fought isreal well in the first arab isreali wars due to the higher commanders being British and not arabs.

With all due respect who finances the coups? Who finances the mercenaries? I think you know the answer.
