The only time you can go back and help is if you have $$$, otherwise you can go and volunteer and sign paperwork on who needs food or water.

As a man have you need to have money to help.
If not, go and volunteer. Just my 2 cents.....

The US state department warns it citizens from travelling to these types of dangerous countries. Many people who went to help (typically the Somali nationalists) like Hodan Nalayeh end up getting killed in a suicide bombing. It's not worth risking your life over that.
