From what I've read you can meditate, it is known in Arabic as (Murāqabah). It depends on the intentions and the forms in which you do it. Obviously practicing meditative ways extracted from other religions i.e. Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Zoroastrianism is not permissble, I think. I am not too sure.What’s Islamic mediation besides salat? Dhikr? @Abu Ash’ari @Omar del Sur ?
