Anyone here go to a private Islamic school?

A friend of mine just told me that when he was younger his mom was spending hundreds each month to send him and his siblings to the private school offered at the masjid. She was spending thousands of dollars each year.

That sounds crazy expensive.

I plan on inshallah enrolling my kids in public schools and also an early college high school.at the junior college I attended there was a high school campus that had students taking college courses while they were in high school. So they ended up graduating with their high school diploma and a two year associates degree

somali teachers made me hate islamic studies. They have the worst teaching style. They think hitting will help kids learn. Fucking idiots all they did was make me find a job as a teen to quit dugsi for good. Made schedules specifically on dugsi days.

I agree with you on that. Somali teachers are abusive but that's just cultural I think, you find all over the non western world

I cannot tell you otherwise I don't know anything about islamic schools except going to the regular dugsi (which was on the side) while at the same time going to regular school. So it's up to you.

Only go to islamic schools if you wanna learn arabic, they prioritise arabic over other languages for dumb reasons.

If you're smart, then you'd leave the US as soon as you can, warlike nation, and will soon be embroiled in a war between the east and the west. Bric vs Nato. Go to a socialistic country and you will live the good life.

I remember this huge scandal In ottawa where teachers in the Islamic school were handing out Dumb Somali students good grades enough to get into u of Ottawa. First semester had high dropped out rate and all the students were from that exact Islamic school
