Anyone ever get laid off?

Just got laid off today from my data engineering job.

In a way , I'm happy because the pay was incredibly low(was making 45k) for what I should be making and I still got severance pay

I am a bit disappointed because I actually liked the co workers and was working at a chill environment despite working from home

It's ironic because I was working 2 jobs early this year LOL

how about you guys?

yeah but I feel so motivated to find a job and keep working. I feel the need to increase and improve my skillset.

Never got laid off but I've once quit job because of mean coworker. Regretted it and promised myself to never letting an envious mediocre balayo have effect my rizq again..

they're trying to budget due to the economy and since I was a junior decided to lay me off

What's funny is that my manager was talking about how everyone's job was safe

he's actually a pretty nice person but companies in general are just cut throat and opportunistic.

my big mistake was not taking on another job at the time.
