Any one in the UK done jury summoning?

I done this last year. Still got paid by my company for 2 weeks. It's long but it's worth it.
First week I was leaving at 12 as well, nearly got put on a 6 week murder case swerved that like a king on rollerskates. Got picked on a nurse with a knife in her handbag, miskeenta was black mid 30s and traumatized, I was like the only black guy in the 12 selected so I backed her to death. I was like she was carrying a big ass handbag, so there's reasonable doubt she could of forgotten. If it weren't for me she'd be in jail for 3-4years.
@ReerVanCadde I got picked for a case today. Can't say what it is but it's a really bad case. Thankfully, I was not picked for one of the longer cases

One of my family members did it a couple months ago. They ruled a rape accused black male was guilty.
What’s funny is the guys on the jury all started off defending the guy (she could be lying about the rape blah blah) but one of the guys who was an exception and all the women weren’t having it and the evidence was definitely in their favour.

It looked relatively new. Plus she lied when the police took her in. She said she was carrying it to *protect herself*.
The police are never your friend and anything you say will be used against you in court so don't say a word.literally. if they ask you why you never made a statement you can plead trauma/scared/intimidation.
Finally, it's the judge that sets the question the jury need to answer. In this case, Was there any reasonable doubt that she knew she was carrying a knife? So if the jury isn't 100% sure then normallythe plaintiff gets off. Plus all 12 need to agree or they stay in a room for days deliberating.

Yes, it was a bit obvious but you have to be 100% sure.
Guy, admitted he was guilty while we had break on the frist day. Now, we'll be called in when we need since cases are filled...
They said they had way to many case on Monday
This experience is not what I expected.
It's was for 2 counts. Drugs and rape.
His phone which pretty much provided everything needed to convict him of the first charges. We going to be hear how the threatened the girl to keep quiet and the video interviews of victim being questioned by police
And that was the end of it
