I just wanna know if the country is heading to its demise.

The terrorist group Al Shabaab are losing tremendous amount of land. Pressure by uprising locals backed by SNA forces are taking the fight to AS doorstep. one of the federal states in the south called Hirshabelle is about to be Shabaab free probably by the end of the year.

Thats probably the best news coming out of somalia right now.

If AS is almost dead and the civil war has ended, what's stopping Somalia Fom being a normal country?

I would say clan based federalism and dispute over power sharing on who should be president of a FMS in states like Hirshabelle and Jubbaland.

However, this can be defeated by 1P1V in somalia post Al shabaab. so I don’t think there’s anything that could stop Somalia from becoming a normal country inshallah
